Case Study II

A long-standing customer in the Oil industry requested we quote for a new Lotus Notes work-flow project, linked to an analysis package. In fact this project was the genesis of HiPriority.

The work-flow was created by merging 2 existing Lotus Notes systems and the analysis system was build from scratch in Delphi. We purchased a Lotus-Delphi interface module and joined them together to create a complex import. This allowed new requests to arrive whenever a customer or salesman had a good idea. This would be vetted via the intranet and progressed by the relevant managers building up a case for investment.

At intervals all potential projects were sucked into the analysis module and a Decision Conference held to achieve two important outcomes

1. All projects where considered together and the most beneficial combinations where commissioned
2. The senior management debate was used to assess trends and business climate

Both projects were completed within a few months to the client's satisfaction.
